Since 1987, George O'Palenick has been in the business of Art In Ice. Over the years, we have become the largest Ice Sculptures in Rhode Island and the surrounding area.
George has won many awards, both regionally and nationally. He is currently ranked as 7th in the United States, by the National Ice Carving Association, awarded at the 1997 National Ice Carving Championship.
We feature handcrafted ice sculptures by Award Winning Master Artists. Our creations will add that special touch of elegance to enhance the theme of your wedding reception. Art In Ice, Inc. is widely known for specialty carvings, such as our Frozen Rose sculpture a nd our Embedded Signature sculpture. Our unique and breathtaking ice sculptures will leave you and your guests with fond memories of your dream wedding. Additionally, our ice sculptures are surprisingly affordable.
We deliver and set up one hour before your reception is to start. Your sculpture will be surrounded by greens and baby's breath. Adding a touch of romance, a spotlight will be set up behind your sculpture, giving the effect of shimmering crystal. Our ice displays truly make an impression that can only be achieved by the artistry of our Master Creators.
Today, Art in Ice is fortunate to have on staff a Senior Carver, Louis Manzoni. Louis was a four year student at Johnson and Wales University. He apprenticed at Art In Ice while in college and returned to become a full time employee. Louis was coached by Chef O'Palenick and was a two time champion at the collegiate Ice Carving Championships in Franken North Michigan.
George's philosophy is to create elegant personalized handcrafted ice sculptures. He is always ready to service his clients by never saying, "No" to any idea of creativity. His motto is, "You'll melt when you see them!"
